- 50g oats
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 150 ml coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon raw cacao
- 1 tablespoon raisins
- Cut the banana in half. Slice one half and set aside. Mash the other half and add to a saucepan.
- Add the raisins, oats, cacao powder and coconut milk to the pan.
- Cook over a medium heat until the oats have absorbed the liquid and have become nice and soft and thick.
- Spoon into a bowl and top with the remaining banana.
Chocolate for breakfast! In the form of super nourishing and good for you banana and raw cacao porridge. Even the most sceptical person will love love love this warming bowl of chocolatey oats. The sweet ripe bananas counteract the sometimes bitter aftertaste of the raw cacao, giving a lovely sweet chocolate taste but with none of the bad stuff.
